BJP Seeks Probe Into Attack On Its State Party Office

Hyderabad, Jan.24 (Maxim News): Condemning attack on State BJP office on Thursday night, Greater Hyderabad city MLC N Ramchender Rao said State govt order an inquiry into incident.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Ramchender Rao said a group of unidentified persons suspected to be MIM activists came to the State BJP office and tried to attack after gate crashing into it. He said the police, who reached the spot on being informed, took some persons into custody. The police should inquire into the incident thoroughly as attack on a political office is highly objectionable and undemocratic, he termed. He also alleged that the Owaisi brothers — MP Asaduddin Owaisi and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi —were trying to vitiate the atmosphere in the country in the name of CAA, NRC and NPR for their political gain.

Alleging that the duo was provoking and intimidating people, Rao said even Asaduddin Owaisi tried to give a communal cover to a famous sweet “Halwa” saying that it was an Arabic word. Indians always respect all the languages and do not differentiate any religion, the BJP leader said. (Maxim News)
