Hyderabad, August 17: A woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Bismillah Colony under Balapur police limits, Hyderabad.
The victim, Rehana, and the accused, Mohammad Salam, were reportedly in a relationship. Both are natives of Bihar and had been living in the city.
Police said Salam had allegedly been pressuring Rehana to marry him for the past few days.
According to preliminary information, Salam attacked Rehana with a knife during an argument. He allegedly tied her body in a gunny sack and fled the scene.
Police Investigate Hyderabad Murder
The incident came to light after the police received information about the killing. Police reached the location and began collecting evidence.
A case has been registered, and teams are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder. Police are also searching for Salam.
