Br. Faraz Ahmed elected as Zonal President & Br. Mohd Hammaduddin as Zonal Secretary of SIO Telangana

Hyderabad, Dec 4, (Maxim News) The elections for the term 2025-26 of the Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Telangana were held on December 3, 2024, with Dr. MKM Zafar, President of JIH Telangana, and Abdul Hafeez, National President of SIO India, chairing the election proceedings.

In the elections, Br. Mohd Faraz Ahmed from Nizamabad, a Political Science graduate from the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), was unanimously elected as the Zonal President for SIO Telangana for the term 2025-26. Faraz has previously served as the State Secretary for SIO Telangana and as the Secretary for Nizamabad for multiple terms. He has also made significant contributions to the national magazine of SIO, Rafeeq e Manzil.

Mohd Hammaduddin, a student of M. Pharm, was appointed as the Zonal Secretary. Hammaduddin was previously the President of SIO Hyderabad and a member of the State Advisory Council and has been entrusted with the responsibility of State Secretary.

Ashfaq Ahmed, Dr. Osaid Waseem, Suhaib Ahmed Khan, Umar Shahroz, Adv. Ghiyasuddin, Musab Abdul Rahman, Sohail Rizwan, Irfan Khan, Hussain Shahbaz, Abdus Salam Shakir, Samaan Rafid, Qayamuddin, Abdul Khaliq Subhani, Faheemuddin Sufi, Faizan Khan, Azeem Khan, Faisal Khan, Fazl ul Bari Irfan.

The newly elected leadership took the oath of responsibility, with Dr. MKM Zafar praying for their success and guidance in their upcoming work. The leadership has committed to working towards the growth and development of SIO Telangana and to continuing its role in serving the student community and promoting Islamic values. (Maxim News)
