Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar alleged that Congress MLA Naini Rajender Reddy and KUDA Chairman Venkatrami Reddy colluded to auction prime KUDA land at undervalued prices through an offline tender process.

He claimed land with a market value of around Rs 1.5 lakh per square yard was auctioned for nearly Rs 60,000 per square yard. According to him, this caused substantial financial losses to the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority.

Vinay Bhaskar also alleged that there were attempts to allot five acres of endowments land to a star hotel. He further accused the Congress government of following a pattern similar to the alleged land encroachment controversy involving Hyderabad Central University.

Former KUDA Chairman Marri Yadava Reddy alleged that 6,697 square yards of prime land was auctioned below market value. He demanded that the auction be cancelled and called for a transparent online bidding process.

BRS leader K. Vasudeva Reddy alleged that commission based governance had spread from Hyderabad to the districts. He urged the government to cancel the KUDA land auctions immediately and accused it of facilitating irregularities in Warangal.
