Hyderabad, Feb 4 (Maxim News): It is learned that the main opposition party BRS led by former Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to stay away from the upcoming elections for one graduate MLC and two teacher MLC posts in the state. It is learned that the party has decided not to announce candidates on behalf of the party and not to support anyone.
It is learned that clear signals to this effect were received during a recent meeting of BRS and former Chief Minister KCR, including KTR, Harish Rao, and other key leaders. With the nomination process starting on Monday, there was a discussion on who will contest as BRS candidates. It is learned that the party chief has made it clear that even though the names of several party leaders have come up for consideration for the graduate MLC post, no one will be fielded in the contest and no one will be supported.
