The Telangana government is set to auction flats, plots, and independent houses in Hyderabad and other districts to raise ₹2,000 crore by the end of this month. These properties belong to the Rajiv Swagruha Corporation and will be sold to generate revenue.
Only Legal Properties Will Be Sold
The government has confirmed that only legally clear properties will be available in the auction. The money collected will be used for the Indiramma Housing Scheme, which helps provide affordable housing to people.
Where Are These Properties Located?
The auction will include properties in areas like:
- Hyderabad & Nearby Areas – Bandlaguda, Nagole, Pocharam, Gajularamaram, and Jawaharnagar.
- Other Districts – Khammam, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, and more.
To ensure fair pricing, the government formed three committees to assess property values under GHMC, HMDA, and other districts. These committees have now submitted their recommendations.

A senior official from Rajiv Swagruha Corporation shared the following details:
- 760 Flats
- 159 in Bandlaguda
- 601 in Pocharam
- 1,342 Open Plots (covering about 350 acres)
- Locations: Chandanagar, Kundanapally, Kawadaipally, Kurmalguda, Bahadurpally, Gajularamaram, Gadwal, Allapur, Thorrur.
- 36 Unfinished Multi-Story Towers
