Bum Rukn Ud Dowla Lake To Be Inaugurated Tomorrow

Hyderabad, March 7 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the rejuvenated Bum Rukn Ud Dowla Lake on March 8 at 7:00 pm. The restoration work was carried out under the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) initiative aimed at reviving water bodies in the city.

Officials said the lake has undergone extensive rejuvenation works to restore its ecological balance. The project focused on improving water quality and strengthening lake infrastructure. Authorities also carried out cleaning operations and beautification works around the lake premises.

The rejuvenation is part of a broader effort to protect Hyderabad’s historic lakes. Several water bodies in the city have faced encroachment and pollution over the years. Civic agencies have started restoration works to revive these lakes and improve urban environmental conditions.
