Car Catches Fire On ORR In Sangareddy, Passengers Safe

A car caught fire on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Muthangi exit under Patancheru police station limits in Sangareddy on Friday. According to reports, all passengers traveling in the vehicle managed to escape safely before the car was completely engulfed by flames.

The incident occurred when the passengers noticed smoke emerging from the car’s engine while driving on the ORR. They immediately parked the vehicle to the side of the road and exited quickly to avoid any harm. Their alertness helped them escape safely before the fire spread further.

Witnesses said the car was soon engulfed in flames after the passengers evacuated. The occupants called the fire department for assistance. However, despite the prompt response, the fire spread rapidly. A fire tender was dispatched to the spot and successfully doused the flames after reaching the scene.

Officials stated that no injuries were reported in the incident. The car, however, was completely damaged in the blaze. “Further details were awaited,” sources said regarding the exact cause of the fire. The quick action of the passengers and the timely intervention of the fire department prevented a potential tragedy on the busy Outer Ring Road.

The incident serves as a reminder for motorists to remain cautious and alert to unusual signs, especially smoke or engine overheating, during long drives. Routine vehicle checks and immediate action in emergencies can help avert serious accidents or loss of life.
