Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday said the state government is giving top priority to the welfare of Singareni workers. He announced that a cath lab will be opened in Godavarikhani within 75 days. He made the statement while replying to a question raised by members in the Legislative Assembly on Singarenirelated issues. The assurance comes amid concerns over healthcare facilities available to Singareni employees and their families.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the government is moving ahead with steps to strengthen medical services linked to Singareni. He stressed that healthcare infrastructure and staffing are part of the government’s immediate focus. According to him, the cath lab in Godavarikhani will address critical cardiac care needs and reduce dependence on distant hospitals. Therefore, the government plans to complete the facility within the announced timeline of 75 days.

Speaking further in the Assembly, the Deputy Chief Minister detailed ongoing recruitment efforts for Singareni hospitals. “We have issued a notification for 32 doctors. We will fill them soon. The recruitment process for 176 paramedical staff is underway. We will fill the vacancies of doctors and staff in Singareni hospitals by march. We will take steps to ensure that retired employees provide medicines there,” said Bhatti Vikramarka. His statement outlined the steps being taken to address staff shortages and medicine availability.

Meanwhile, the government has already initiated the recruitment process to ensure hospitals function without disruption. Officials are working to complete the appointments as early as possible. Bhatti Vikramarka indicated that filling vacancies by March is a key target. He also referred to plans involving retired employees to support medicine supply, which is expected to help improve service delivery.

The Deputy Chief Minister’s reply in the Assembly reflects the government’s stated focus on Singareni worker welfare. The proposed cath lab in Godavarikhani and the ongoing recruitment drive are part of this approach. While no further details were shared, the assurance has drawn attention within the Assembly. Members noted that timely completion of these steps would play an important role in strengthening healthcare access for Singareni workers.
