Hyderabad, Nov.27 (Maxim News): Telangana BJP Chief Laxman today said the Centre will intervene on the TSRTC strike and jobs to employees’ issue.
Talking to mediapersons after meeting with Union ministers JP Nadda and Normal Sithraman in Delhi, he slammed the state government for denying jobs to RTC employees. He said the Centre has already made some instructions to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on RTC row. But the Chief Minister was trying to close down the TSRTC, he fumed.
The Centre, which has 31% share in TSRTC will intervene on the issue, he said. “We have appealed to the BJP national leadership and the Centre to ensure jobs to RTC workers as strike was called off. Any privatization move will be opposed by the BJP and Centre will intervene on the RTC issue in the State”, he said, adding that recently Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari has spoken to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on RTC workers jobs and other issues.
