Chain Snatchers Target Elderly Woman, Fled With Her ‘Mangalsutra In Patancheru

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (Maxim News): An 80-year-old woman was targeted by chain snatchers and fled with her Mangalsutra at Shanthi Nagar in Patancheru in the early hours of Sunday.

According to police officials, the woman, identified as Sripada Somalakshmi, was performing puja outside her village when the snatchers, who came on a bike, snatched her four tola gold mangalsutra and fled the spot.

The police are trying to identify the miscreants by tracking CCTV footage from the area. (Maxim News)
