Amaravati, Dec.10 (Maxim News): The main Opposition Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday staged a protest at a Fire Service station located beside the Secretariat demanding that the State government provide remunerative prices to the farmers. TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu led the protest.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu said the farmers were not getting remunerative prices for their produce. He alleged that there was nobody to buy their produce in the state. He said groundnut, palm oil, turmeric and dal farmers were facing many problems in the State. He demanded that the State government not only provide remunerative prices to the farmers, but also solve all their problems. (Maxim News)
