Chandrababu Naidu In Two-Day Custody Of CID

Vijayawada/Hyderabad, Sept 22 (Maxim News): The ACB court in Vijayawada, today has given a verdict by giving CID custody for two days to interrogate Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam. However, the custodial trial was ordered to be conducted in Rajahmundry Central Jail itself.  

Within an hour of dismissing the quash petition in the AP High Court, the ACB court announced its verdict on the custody petition.  Before these verdicts, orders were issued extending the remand of Chandrababu for two days.  At the same time, the bail petition filed by Chandrababu in the ACB Court was also postponed.  The Court clarified that the bail petition will be heard on September 25, i.e. Monday.

Chandrababu’s Lawyers have decided to go to the Supreme Court against giving Chandrababu CID custody and dismissing the quash petition.

The Asst Advocate General Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy heard the arguments on behalf of the CID, and Supreme Court lawyers Siddhartha Luthra and Agarwal heard the arguments on behalf of Chandrababu. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the ACB Court allowed Chandrababu to be in CID custody for two days.  The court has issued orders to interrogate Chandrababu, who is already in Rajahmundry Central jail.  The court ordered the CID officials to investigate the matter from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  (Maxim News)
