The session took place under the leadership of DCP Charminar Kiran Khare. ACP Chandra Shekhar and SHO Ram Babu also attended the programme. Police called individuals involved in extortion and warned them to stop such activities immediately.
Officials stated that any further violations will invite strict legal action. This includes opening rowdy sheets, registering criminal cases, and making arrests. Therefore, police described this as a final opportunity for offenders to reform.
Police Stress Reform and Strict Enforcement
Police emphasised a reform based approach during the session. They urged offenders to adopt lawful means of livelihood. At the same time, they made it clear that enforcement will remain strict.
Moreover, officials instructed shopkeepers and street vendors to maintain discipline. They asked them to avoid encroachments and prevent traffic obstruction. In addition, they stressed the need to keep the area clean and orderly.

Authorities highlighted the importance of preserving Charminar as a major tourist destination. Therefore, maintaining public order and hygiene remains a priority.
Meanwhile, police reiterated a zero tolerance policy towards extortion. They also urged citizens to cooperate in maintaining law and order in the area.
The initiative aims to improve safety and protect the interests of traders and visitors. Police said they will continue monitoring the situation closely.
