Choutuppal Municipality Results Show Split Verdict
Hyderabad, Feb. 13: Choutuppal Municipality results in Munugode constituency produced a split verdict in the first round of counting. As a result, no party secured a clear majority in the initial six wards declared.
According to officials, Congress, BJP and BRS won two wards each. Therefore, the contest remains open as counting continues in the remaining wards.
In Ward 1, Congress candidate Kosanam Rakesh Reddy secured victory. Meanwhile, BJP candidate Polepalli Lakshmi won Ward 2. In Ward 3, Congress candidate Palle Lavanya registered a win.
Similarly, BRS candidate Udari Yadaiah won Ward 4. In addition, BRS candidate Koyyada Shekhar secured Ward 5. BJP candidate Ale Srilatha Chiranjeevi claimed victory in Ward 6.
Choutuppal Municipality Results Show No Clear Majority
