New Delhi, July 29: Leaders of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) met Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikayat on Tuesday to discuss building a joint platform of farmers, students and youth for future protests on public issues.
According to the CJP, spokesperson Ashutosh, along with other student leaders, held discussions with Tikayat and farmer representatives on strengthening coordination between different groups and planning future action.
CJP Rakesh Tikayat Meeting Focuses on Joint Movement
Following the meeting, Ashutosh said the party hopes farmers, students and youth across the country will unite and strengthen the movement to question the Narendra Modi government on various issues.
CJP leaders also sought the support of Rakesh Tikayat and the Bharatiya Kisan Union for their demand to withdraw cases registered against students during recent protests.
The meeting comes as the CJP continues outreach efforts with various organisations after concluding its recent protest campaign, with the party indicating that broader cooperation among farmers, students and youth will shape its future programmes.
