Cloudburst In Medak: Roads And Colonies Like Ponds
Medak/Hyderabad, Sept 11 (Maxim News): Medak has been hit once again by heavy rain. On thursday, the district headquarters received 13 cm of rain (cloud burst) in just three and a half hours. This turned the roads into ponds.
According to the meteorological Department, Rajipalli received 9.2 cm of rain and Pathur 8 cm. heavy water entered low-lying areas in medak town. Roads flooded Gandhi Nagar Colony, Rainwater entered houses in many areas. All the roads resemble ponds.

Floodwaters have flooded the road from Ram Das intersection to the new bus stand. The Medak-Hyderabad highway was flooded with heavy floodwaters, forced officials to remove the divider in the middle with a JCB.
Meanwhile, the meteorological Department is predicting heavy rains in Telangana in the next four days. In view of the above situation, the authorities have been put on alert. (Maxim News)
