CLP leader asks party activists to plunge into flood relief operations
Hyderabad, July 15 (Maxim News): CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today called upon party activists from the flood affected districts of the State to take part in flood relief activities in order to help the victims of the floods.
In a statement, Vikramarka said the party leaders and activists should stand by the victims of the floods. Stating that the impact of the floods is very high in the State, he said the people had lost their properties and crops during the floods. He said the Congress party workers should supply food and milk packets to the victims besides distributing snacks and clothes to them. He said the party workers should work like soldiers in the flood relief operations. He told the party workers that the people were facing a lot of hardships like never before and added that the State government had failed in assessing the damages caused by the floods.
Meanwhile, Vikramarka visited the food hit areas of Bhadrachalam along with local party leaders. He interacted with the residents of the affected villages. (Maxim News)
