Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday criticised the BJP-led NDA government for introducing new farm bills in the Parliament. He stated that the Central government was rendering great injustice to farmers with new agriculture bills.
He directed the TRS MPs in the Rajya Sabha to vote against the farm bills as they were already passed in the Lok Sabha. The chief minister alleged that new agriculture bills would benefit the corporate companies, middlemen and not the farmers. Two days ago, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal quit the Modi Cabinet opposing farm bills.
