CM KCR Is A Staunch Hindu: Harish Rao

Siddipet/Hyderabad, Sept 13 (Maxim News) Finance Minister T. Harish Rao has claimed that CM KCR is a staunch Hindu and added due to his devotion the state is prospering.

Harish Rao visited Sita Rama Chandraswamy temple in Potlapalli village of Husnabad Mandal. and laid the foundation stone for the restoration work of the temple with a fund of Rs. 40 lakh.

Speaking on this occasion, Harish Rao said that KCR is a staunch Hindu and is developing the temples in the state. Yadadri Temple was developed with Rs. 1200 crores. the Kondagatu temple is being developed with Rs. 600 crores. He made it clear that only the KCR government is taking steps for the development of temples and salaries for priests.

Harish Rao said that grants for the temples are being increased from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 10,000 for offering dupatta in 10,000 temples. He said that there are 140 temples in Potlapalli village and he is happy to start the restoration work of Ram temple with Rs. 40 lakhs in such a village. He said that funds of Rs. 50 lakhs will be sanctioned for the construction of Shivalaya Gali Gopuram. He said that since the last 9 years during KCR’s regime, crops have been grown without any damage, He claimed that before KCR came to power, the state was dependent on food grains, today we are growing full of rice for the country by growing two crops in a year. He claimed that KCR built the Gauravelli project and brought water to the people in this area.

State Planning Commission Vice President Boinapally Vinod Kumar, local legislators Oditela Satish Kumar, ZP Chairperson Roja Radhakrishna Sharma, local public representatives, and others participated in the program. (Maxim News)
