He said that the decade-long BRS misrule is gone and people are happy. Within two days of assuming office, the Telangana government fulfilled the first and second promises. Free bus travel for women in all TGSRTC buses, 10 lakh healthcare and hospital coverage under Rajiv  Arogyashri.  In the last 11 months, sisters and mothers in Telangana have traveled without paying a single rupee.  101 crore women have taken free bus journeys across the state.  Rs. 3,433.36 crores were spent on free bus travel for women in one year. Before the end of our first year, we implemented a farmer loan waiver, assuring farmers, that 22,22,365 are now living like kings without any debt.  Rs. 2,00,000 were waived off all farmer’s loans. In 25 days, we have deposited Rs. 18,000 crore rupees in the farmer’s accounts, CM claimed.

The Chief Minister also claimed “We are providing free electricity to houses upto 200 units without household electricity charges.  Women are blessing us with this.  If gas cylinder prices are high in BJP-ruled states, they are happy that they are getting just Rs. 500 a cylinder in Congress-ruled Telangana. Over 1.31 crore gas cylinder refills have been done so far during our tenure. He claimed that 42,90,248 people benefited and expressed happiness.  We have taken up job placements for youth.  The Congress government conducted a massive recruitment drive. Conducting all level examinations regularly.  By conducting Group 1, 2, 3, and 4 examinations in less than 11 months, the Congress government provided jobs to 50,000 deserving youth. This is a record never done by any BJP state government. The previous BRS government neglected the school children for a decade. After a decade, mess and cosmetic charges for poor children in welfare hostels have been increased by more than 40 percent.

We are cleaning the Musi river which was neglected in the past and bringing it back to its glory. We are also protecting the precious water resources of our lakes and canals which have been encroached and destroyed in the last 10 years. Not even an inch of the lake has been encroached since Congress came to power. Also, we are creating a future city. The master plan is being finalized. We set the ball rolling for Young Indiaz Skills University, Y1 Sports University, and Y1 Integrated Residential Schools. In the last 11 months, we have dispelled the darkness and filled the light in Telangana, Revanth Reddy posted on X.  (Maxim News)
