Hyderabad, June 30 (Maxim News): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to formulate a transparent and comprehensive policy for allocating land to various mutts within the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple premises at Yadagirigutta. He stressed that the ownership rights of all temple lands must remain with the Devasthanam under every circumstance.
The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of the Yadagirigutta temple development during a high-level meeting held at the Bodhi Pavilion, MCR HRD Institute. He instructed officials to frame clear guidelines for land allotment while protecting the temple’s long-term interests.
Revanth Reddy directed officials to study the land allocation policy followed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and adopt suitable practices at Yadagirigutta. He said the temple administration should ensure transparency and consistency while allotting land to religious and charitable institutions.
The Chief Minister also instructed officials to allot land to the Hare Rama Hare Krishna Charitable Foundation at the prevailing market price. He said the process should strictly follow government norms and ensure accountability.
Furthermore, he asked officials to prepare a list of individuals and organizations willing to construct guest houses on the temple hill. He directed the authorities to adopt the TTD model for guest house construction and grant approvals in a phased manner. He also called for a separate policy with well-defined guidelines for allotting land to caste-based associations.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to immediately release funds for land acquisition required for various development projects within the temple limits. He emphasized that timely acquisition of land is essential to support future expansion and improve pilgrim facilities.
He also directed officials to conduct a comprehensive examination of the report submitted by the engineers’ committee on the construction of the Yadagirigutta temple. The committee has been asked to submit a detailed report within one week after reviewing all technical aspects.
In addition, Revanth Reddy instructed officials to develop a tourism circuit around Yadagirigutta through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. He said the project should improve tourism infrastructure, create employment opportunities, and enhance the overall pilgrimage experience.
The Telangana government has been focusing on strengthening temple infrastructure while promoting religious tourism across the state. The proposed reforms at Yadagirigutta are expected to improve transparency in land management, expand pilgrim amenities, and support long-term development of one of Telangana’s most prominent pilgrimage centres.
