Hyderabad/April 21 (Maxim News): Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has clarified that his government is positive about resolving the problems of Telangana RTC workers . He said that there may be some delay in taking decisions by his government. He mentioned that a committee of four officials has been formed to look into all the issues raised by the RTC workers. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that if all the RTC representatives present the problems of the workers to the committee, he will discuss the problems with the officials and resolve them.
He said that as employees, you and the government have a responsibility to ensure that the people do not face any problems. He commented that the goal of his government is to protect the RTC organization, ensure the welfare of employees, and ensure the convenience of passengers. He suggested that the employees’ problems should be raised with the officers’ committee without resorting to any arguments. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that his government is committed to resolving those problems.
On the other hand.. The Telangana government has issued orders to constitute a committee of officers to look into the issues related to TGS RTC. GOMS No. 66 has been issued to this effect. The government is receiving petitions from the employees of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGS RTC), raising various issues regarding their service conditions and related matters. After thoroughly examining these petitions, the government is constituting a committee of officers to look into the issues raised by the TGS RTC employees and suggest suitable recommendations.
The committee comprises Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Chairman of the Transport, Roads and Buildings Department, Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Labour, Employment, Training and Factories Department – Member, Chief Secretary to the Government, Finance Department – Member, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, TGSRTC – Member & Convener. The government has directed that this committee should examine all the issues thoroughly and submit its report within four weeks from the date of issuance of these orders. (Maxim News)
