Hyderabad, March 7 (Maxim News): Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy suspended all six Congress MLAs for one day after they disrupted proceedings while Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was addressing the House during the discussion on Motion of Thanks to the Governor’s speech.
The Speaker announced his decision after Legislature Affairs Minister V Prashanth Reddy moved a proposal for suspension of the Congress legislators, who disrupted the Chief Minister’s speech by noisy scenes. The suspended Congress MLAs are CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, D Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Toorpu Jagga Reddy, Podem Veeraiah and Dansari Anasuya alias Seethakka. They disrupted the Chief Minister’s statement despite repeated pleas by the Speaker and the Legislative Affairs Minister which led to their suspension. (Maxim News)
