Cong Padayatra On Nov 16 Postponed
Hyderabad, Nov.14 (Maxim News): All India Congress committee in charge RC Khuntia on Thursday said that they have postponed the proposed Padayatra scheduled to be held on November 16. The padayatra was scheduled to be held from the party headquarters Gandhi Bhawan to Hyderabad District Collector office opposing the anti-people policies of the union government.
Speaking on the occasion Khuntia said that the padayatra was postponed keeping in view a meeting being held by the party president Sonia Gandhi with the PCC presidents and CLP leaders of all the states on the same day at national capital.
He said that they would issue an official statement on the organization of the Padayatra very soon. In an official statement Kuntia said that the protest programs to lay seige around the district collector offices held by the party on November 8 across the state turned out to be a grand success. He also said that they had met with the governor of the state to Tamilisai Sounderarajan and submitted a representation on the anti people policies of the state and central governments.(Maxim News)
