Congress Had United Telangana With AP For 58 Years: We Divided It With A Lot Of Struggle: KCR

Jangaon/Hyderabad, Nov 18 (Maxim News): Ruling BRS President and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has made the sarcastic comments on the Congress party saying that the Congress has kept  Telangana with Andhra Pradesh united for 58 years, while we have divided and got the separate state for Telangana with lot of struggle.  

Participating in the Election campaign at Jangaon Constituency, today, KCR said that the people should not panic when elections come. A wise government will come only if you vote wisely. A vote to change the state’s constitution should be cast wisely. He said that we should remember how Telangana was ten years ago, in the past there was drought everywhere in Telangana. Now there is no problem with Irrigation water, drinking water and electricity.  

He said, we are the only state in the country who are giving Rs. 2000 pension, in any of the Congress ruled states, it is giving, he will rub his nose on the ground.  He said now the Congress is promising to give Rs. 4 thousand pension, he said BRS will gradually increase the pension to Rs. 5,000 per month.  He said, “I do not know how many promises the Congress made and ignored in the last 50 years.  Congress has created a situation where farmers commit suicide.  We have taken some decisions to stabilize agriculture in Telangana.  We provide 24 hours electricity.  We are giving the farmer’s a insurance of Rs. 5 lakhs.  We are buying all the crops grown by the farmers in the villages.  We are now seeing smiles on the faces of the farmers.

He said that if he continues for another ten years, all the farmers will be better off.  As the wealth increases, welfare schemes are increasing.  If jangaon candidate Palla Rajeshwar Reddy wins farmers will get Rs. 16 thousand under Rythu bandhu.  People should take  note of this, he said (Maxim News)
