Assam/Internet/Hyderabad, April 6 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Modi has strongly criticized the Congress party for its ties with Pakistan. Modi, who participated in an election rally in Assam, criticized the opposition for its handling of national security and said that it has already had to pay a heavy price many times. ‘Even during the Sindoor period, the Congress sang the song of Pakistan. This relationship is not new. It has been going on since time immemorial. This is seriously damaging national security,” Modi said.
“Yesterday, Pawan Khera and Gaurav Gogoi held two press conferences in ?Delhi and Guwahati. However, we have found that all the information related to that conference was taken from Pakistani social media. Efforts are being made to influence the Assam elections. As the elections were approaching in the state, Pakistan’s Channel II hosted talk shows. This has never happened before. In each show, they ended by saying that Congress should win. Pakistan’s interference was clearly revealed in the conference held yesterday,” Assam CM Himanta Biswas said.
The Congress party has alleged that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife Riniki Bhuyan Sharma has passports of 3 countries and that she has hidden her assets by not disclosing them in her affidavit. “A case can be registered when false allegations are made without evidence. Such criticisms were made to influence people during the elections. They must be punished for it. Yesterday my wife filed a case. I think the police wil take action as per the law. The Assam Police has already investigated the passports. The Dubai passport has been found to be fake, as stated on the official website of Dubai. The reports from other countries may come in the next two days,” explained Himanta Biswa Sarma. (Maxim News)
