Congress Lost MLC Elections Due To Secret Understanding Between BJP-BRS: Sridhar Babu
Hyderabad, Mar 6 (Maxim News): Minister Sridhar Babu said, “we accept the verdict given by the voters in Karimnagar-Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad graduate MLC elections.
Speaking to the media today, the Minister said that BRS had allied with BJP in the Parliamentary elections itself. He said that BRS did not field candidates in these elections. He said that Ravinder Singh got votes personally. He said that the situation would have been different if BRS had indirectly supported Ravinder Singh. He said that BRS and BJP are in a feud. He said that the BRS party and the BJP have united to defeat the Congress party. Sridhar Babu asked the BRS party to explain directly why it did not field a candidate in this election. Isn’t it true that BRS indirectly supported BJP? he asked.
Key Congress leader Addanki Dayakar also reacted to this issue. He said that how the BJP subdued the BRS was clear in the MLC elections. He said that the BJP and BRS are one and the same. He said that the two parties are not seen separately. He said that the words of the BJP leaders after the victory in the MLC elections were ridiculous. He said that the BJP is fighting for votes, for elections. He said that the party never fights for the people. They, questioned by BRS, which claims to be a party to the Satta Chatutham movement if the by-elections come, did not contest even one of the three MLC seats. He said that BRS fought against Congress and got votes for BJP.
The victory of the BJP candidate Anji Reddy in the Karimnagar-Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad graduate MLC elections has become a sensation in Telangana politics. BJP leaders say that they have no choice in the state. Congress leaders are alleging that the BJP won only with BRS support. The opposition is criticizing that CM Revanth Reddy did not get the support of the voters even though he campaigned himself. (Maxim News)
