Congress Violated Its Guarantees Under Pretext Of Debt: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Mar 9 (Maxim News): BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy has criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for telling blatant lies about the state’s debts. He accused him of hatching a plan to evade election promises using the excuse of debts.

Speaking to press persons, he said that the CM has said many times in the past that the state has a debt of Rs. 7.50 lakh crore.

Speaking at a meeting in Delhi recently, he said that even after becoming the CM, he thought that there was still Rs. 3.5 lakh crore. Now, he has raised his hands on the implementation of the promises by mentioning the name of the debts.

Kishan Reddy said that the interests of Telangana are important to the BJP. He accused the Congress government of not implementing guarantees because the interests of the state are not its priority.

He questioned how the Centre can fulfill them by making promises and announcing schemes at will. “We are in no hurry to form a government in Telangana. We will come to power in the state in the next elections through One Nation One Election,” he announced. He said that the Kazipet coach factory will start production from next year.

As a national highway, ‘In Telangana, 10 national highways with a length of 285 km have been completed at a cost of Rs. 6,280 crore. These will be inaugurated by Gadkari after the Parliament sessions.

The foundation stone for 51 km of road works at a cost of Rs. 961 crore will be laid soon. I discussed the northern part of Triple R with Gadkari. We have prepared proposals for the construction of this road at a cost of Rs. 18,772 crore. Three more works are to be done on this road.

A note for the PPP appraisal committee, central cabinet approval, and a tripartite agreement regarding funds should be made. The cabinet is likely to approve this soon, explained Kishan Reddy. He asked the state government to immediately acquire land for the construction of pending roads and hand it over. He said that the state government has not yet given all the land for Warangal airport.

Kishan Reddy accused Revanth Reddy and Tamil Nadu CM Stalin of spreading false propaganda on the reorganization of constituencies. He made it clear that even if the population decreases, not a single MP seat will decrease in Telangana or any state in the south. (Maxim News)
