- Union Minister says AIMIM support crucial to Congress victory in Jubilee Hills
- Kishan Reddy vows analysis of defeat, questions Revanth Reddy’s leadership
Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov 14 (Maxim News): Union Minister Kishan Reddy has attributed the Congress party’s win in the Jubilee Hills by-election to the cooperation and support of AIMIM. Speaking to the media, Reddy emphasized that the Congress victory was possible only through the “support and money of AIMIM,” and stated his intention to analyze his party’s defeat in detail.
“We have never won a single corporator in Jubilee Hills. We have never won since independence. We tried our best. The Congress party won the Jubilee Hills election with the support and money of AIMIM. The Jubilee Hills election was held under special circumstances. Our party is weak there. We will analyze the defeat. No party can win in Old City either. We will abide by the public verdict. The Congress party won only because of the cooperation of AIMIM,” said Reddy.
He also questioned Congress leader Revanth Reddy’s contributions, asking, “What did Revanth Reddy do? Should we vote for him?” Reddy alleged that both parties spent crores of rupees during the campaign and claimed that the state government did not cooperate with the Central Election Commission. “We will complain about this. We have focused on the GHMC elections. Our goal is to win the post of GHMC mayor. In the last GHMC elections, the Congress party did not get deposits in many places,” he said.
Reddy additionally commented on national developments, saying, “The people of Bihar have embraced the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people have given us a huge victory beyond our expectations. The Congress party’s poisonous campaign on vote theft has been turned around. SIR should be conducted across the country. The voter list is full of errors in Jubilee Hills. The Congress party’s work is done. Rahul Gandhi has become a laughing stock in the eyes of the people.”
These remarks reflect the BJP’s position following recent electoral results and highlight ongoing discussions regarding party strategies, election conduct, and political alliances in Telangana and beyond.
