He was speaking at a program organized on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, “Today, some people are trying to prevent India from developing. They are creating false stories. They are propagating false reports. They are implementing many strategies to mislead the people. India’s development is necessary not only for the country but also for the world. The history of our country is not the history of slavery. It is the history of fighting against those who wanted to impose slavery on us. Many invaders came. Some gained power. But India never accepted social and cultural slavery. Even when faced with difficulties, India did not give up its religion and culture. Maharana Pratap’s struggle was to protect religion, culture and self-respect. He fought for the freedom of his motherland. A deep study of his life is necessary. We should grow strong with his inspiration

“There can be unity in diversity. Mutual respect and harmony are important,” Bhagwat said. (Maxim News)
