Corona: 8,061 New Cases Reported in Telangana

The number of active cases has reached 72, 133 out of which 50, 972 positive cases are in home isolation and 21, 161 patients are undergoing treatment in private and government hospital

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 8061 new Corona cases and 56 fatalities on Tuesday, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 2150 and total number of positive cases so far to 4, 19, 966.

The number of active cases has reached 72, 133 out of which 50, 972 positive cases are in home isolation and 21, 161 patients are undergoing treatment in private and government hospitals.

Between Monday and Tuesday, authorities conducted 82, 270 Covid rapid tests out of which test results of 5241 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 1, 27, 48, 582 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 4, 19, 966 have tested positive and 3, 45, 683 persons have recovered. On Tuesday, 5093 cases have recovered with a recovery rate of 82.31 percent.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 125 from Adilabad, 82 from Bhadradri Kothgudem, 1508 from areas under GHMC, 252 from Jagtiyal, 88 from Jangaon, 68
