Corona: Telangana Adds 256 New Cases, 2 Deaths
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported a maximum of 51 fresh positive cases
Hyderabad, Jan 19 (Maxim News) Telangana on Monday added 256 new Corona cases, as per the State Health Department on Tuesday. With this, Telangana’s total Corona tally 2,92,128 including 4,005 active cases. The new discharges reported in the state are 298, it said.
Two new deaths were reported in the state taking the total death toll to 1,581. The case fatality rate stands at 0.54%. The recovery rate is 98.08%.

According to the health bulletin released on Monday, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported a maximum of 51 fresh positive cases followed by Adilabad (6), Bhadradri Kothagudem (9), Jagtial (9), Jangaon (6), Jayashankar Bhupalpally (8), Jogulamba Gadwal ( one ), Kamareddy (One), Karimnagar (11), Khammam (9), Kumarambheem Asifabad (5), Mahaboobnagar (4), Mahabubabad (One), Mancherial (10), Medak (3), Medchal Malkajgiri (17), Mulugu (5), Rangareddy (15), Nalgonda (11), Nirmal (3), Nizamabad (3), Pedapalli (10), Rajanna Sircilla (7), Sangareddy (8), Siddipet (6), Suryapet (9), Vikarabad (9), Warangal Rural (5), Warangal Urban (10), Narayanpet (One) and Yadadiri Bongir (3) were reported districts.
It is to mention here that, India reported the lowest number of daily coronavirus infections in over seven months with 10,064 new cases, which took the caseload to 1,05,81,837, while recoveries have surged to 1,02,28,753, according to Union health ministry data updated on Tuesday The country’s death toll increased to 1,52,556 as 137 fatalities, the lowest in around eight months, were recorded in a span of 24 hours, the data updated at 8 am showed.
The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 1,02,28,753 pushing the national COVID-19 recovery rate to 96.66 per cent, while the COVID-19 case fatality rate stands at 1.44?per cent The COVID-19 active caseload remained below three lakh There are 2,00,528 active COVID-19 cases in the country which comprise?1.90 per cent of the total caseload, the data stated.
