Coronavirus: Vaccine Now in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Jan.12 (Maxim News): The much awaited Coronavirus vaccine reached the city today. The vaccine made by Pune based Serum Institute Covisheild was brought to Shamshabad International Airport through social cargo flight. A total of 3.72 lakh doses of the vaccine were brought through the special flight. The vaccine would be shifted to koti based cold storage unit .

The authorities have set up 40 cubic meter vaccine cooler in the area . The vaccination drive would bring from 16th of this month. The authorities would administer 13900 vaccines through 139 Centers from across the state on the first day. The authorities are also making the arrangements to administer the vaccine from 1213 Centers of the state. The vaccine will be administered for four days week from 9 am to evening 4pm.

The state government has made it clear that the universal Immunization program would be held on Wednesday and Saturday in a usual manner. The authorities have said that they can store 1.5 Crore vaccines at their vaccine cold storage unit in Koti. (Maxim News)
