Hyderabad, Feb 27 (Maxim News): BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday stated that corruption and anarchy have become inseparable components of the Congress government, in contrast with the BRS rule under former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, where development and welfare moved together.
He stated that felling of trees in Palle Prakruthi Vanams and blasting of check dams have become a norm in the Congress government.
Speaking at a felicitation programme at Telangana Bhavan for newly elected BRS councillors from the Alampur constituency, Rama Rao said the party’s performance in Alampur, Aija, Gadwal and Vaddepalli was evidence of the sustained grassroots strength of the BRS, despite the Congress being in power.
“From sarpanch to municipal polls, the results show where the people’s confidence lies,” he said, calling it the inspiration of Nadigadda.
The BRS working president cited recent incidents, including the death of a two-month-old baby in Nagarkurnool and the alleged lockup death of Dalit youth Karla Rajesh in Kodad, as evidence of the Congress government’s administrative failure. He also condemned the demolition of houses in Velugumatla of Khammam, calling it a cruel act that left thousands of families homeless.
He accused the Congress of failing to implement its six guarantees and disappointing farmers on Rythu Bharosa financial assistance and fertiliser supply. He urged the BRS cadre to remain vigilant and thwart the ruling Congress’s attempts to lure its elected candidates.

Stating that the people of Telangana were able to see through the Congress government’s false promises, he exuded confidence that the BRS would return to power under Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership. (Maxim News)
