COVID-19: Telangana Records 384 Cases, 3 Deaths
Telangana recorded 384 fresh coronavirus and three deaths until 8 pm on Sunday pushing the overall tally to 2,78,108 while the death toll to 1,496. While the recoveries went up to 2,69,222 with 631 new recoveries in the state. At present, there are 7,300 active cases out of which 5,298 are in home or institutional isolation.
Between Friday and Saturday, 28,980 samples were tested including 12,751 on primary contacts and 3,477 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 384 came positive and the reports of 498 are awaited. So far, 61,57,683 samples have been tested since the pandemic.
The positive cases reported across the state include 101 from GHMC, 36 from Rangareddy, 31 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 25 from Warangal Urban, 16 from Karimnagar, 14 from Sangareddy, 13 from Khammam, 9 each from Vikarabad, Mancherial and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 8 each from Suryapet, Nagarkurnool, Nizamabad and Jagtial, 7 each from Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Siddipet, Peddapalli and Warangal Rural,6 each from Adilabad, Mahabubabad and Mulugu, 5 each from Jangaon, Medak and Mahabubnagar, 4 from Nirmal, 3 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 2 from Narayanpet and one each from Yadadri Bhongir and Wanaparthy.
