COVID-19: Telangana Records 631 Cases, 2 Deaths

Telangana registered 631 coronavirus cases and two deaths until 8 pm on Thursday. While the total number of cases touched to 2,72,123, the death toll reached 1,467. Meanwhile, the recovery cases went up to 2,61,830 with 802 recoveries in a single day. At present, there are 8,826 active cases out of which 6,817 are in home or institutional isolation.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, around 57,405 samples were tested including 25,258 tests on primary contacts and 6,888 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 631 samples came positive and the reports of 658 are awaited.

The positive cases across the state reported include 109 from GHMC, 57 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 49 from Rangareddy, 34 from Karimnagar, 29 from Nalgonda, 24 from Khammam, 22 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 21 each from Adilabad and Warangal Urban, 19 each from Mahabubabad and Yadadri Bhongir, 18 each from Suryapet and Sangareddy, 14 each from Jagtial, Mulugu and Nagarkurnool, 13 each from Rajanna Sircilla, 12 each from Mancherial, Siddipet and Peddapalli, 11 each from Warangal Rural and Nizamabad, 10 from Mahabubnagar, 9 each from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Medak, Nirmal and Vikarabad, 8 each from Wanaparthy and Jangaon, 5 each from Komarambheem Asifabad, 4 each from Jogulamba Gadwal and zero cases from Narayanpet.
