Hyderabad, August 25: Senior Cyberabad police officers inspected key roads and junctions in Gachibowli and Raidurgam on Monday.
Jt. Commissioner of Police Traffic Sunpreet Singh, IPS, led the inspection with SCSC CEO Naved Khan.
ADCP T Hanmanth Rao also accompanied the team during the review.
The officers assessed traffic flow and measures to reduce congestion across the area.
Gachibowli Traffic Measures Reviewed
The team directed officials to open a U Turn at Journalists Colony Kaman.
They also ordered road widening and repairs between Aparna Shangri La and Gowlidoddi.
Officials were asked to provide a Foot Over Bridge and trim vegetation at Wipro Junction.
The officers also directed officials to widen Free Lefts at key junctions.
They reviewed traffic movement along the Gowlidoddi, Nanakramguda, IIIT and ICICI corridor.
Meanwhile, officers discussed ways to segregate traffic and reduce unnecessary U Turns.
They also proposed an alternative road from Vamshi Ram BSR Towers to Mantri Constructions Road.
The proposed route would pass through the Medikunta edge.
The officers inspected ongoing works near ITC Kohenur and directed officials to speed them up.
TGIIC officials were asked to install proper pedestrian crossing signs.
They were also told to guide pedestrians towards the Foot Over Bridge.
The officers stressed scientific traffic management, better road infrastructure and pedestrian safety.
