COVID-19: Telangana Records 761 Cases, 4 Deaths
Telangana recorded 761 fresh cases and four deaths in until 8 pm on Thursday taking the total count to 2,47,665 and the fatalities to 1,448. With the recovery of 702 persons in the last 24 hours, the overall recoveries went up to 761.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, around 42,242 samples were tested including 18,586 on primary contacts and 5,069 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 761 turned positive and the reports of 631 are awaited. So far, 53,32,150 tests have been conducted in the state.
The positive cases reported from the state include 136 from GHMC, 69 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 55 from Rangareddy, 33 each from Suryapet and Bhadradri Kothagudem, 30 from Siddipet, 29 from Mancherial, 28 each Khammam, Nalgonda and Rajanna Sircilla, 24 from Warangal Urban, 21 from Jagtial, 19 from Nizamabad, 18 each from Yadadri Bhongir, Peddapalli, Mulugu and Sangareddy, 17 from Warangal Rural, 14 from Medak,12 from Kamareddy, 11 from Vikarabad, 10 from Mahabubnagar, 9 each from Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Nagarkurnool, 7 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 5 from Wanaparthy, 4 each from Narayanpet and Adilabad, 2 each from Nirmal and Jangaon and one from Komarambheem Asifabad.
