Covid-19: Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat Tests Positive

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat tweeted on Thursday afternoon that he has tested positive for the novel and deadly coronavirus, which has affected over 28 lakh people in India since the beginning of the pandemic.

He asked those who came in contact with him to isolate themselves and get tested for Covid-19. He is the sixth Union Minister to test positive for the highly contagious disease. Shekhawat got himself admitted to the hospital for treatment. Apex Committee meeting over water row between Telugu states scheduled for August 25 likely to be postponed.
