CP Anand Visits Rd.No: 45 Junctions in Jubilee Hills

City Police Commissioner Mr.CV Anand made a surprise to Rd.No: 45 junctions in jubilee hills to supervise the ongoing “ROPE” – Removal of obstructive parking Encroachments operation and other engineering measures initiated by traffic police. During his visit, he checked the readiness of field staff and discussed the engineering changes required. The traffic officials briefed the police commissioner about the inflow, volumes, and load on the local roads.

Interacting with the media, CP Anand said that with the steep rise in population and due to the increase of personal vehicles during the covid infection period, we now face a serious situation of traffic jams at all junctions. Let us understand the seriousness of the situation and voluntarily cooperate with HTP, for the free flow of traffic.

To reduce congestion on roads, Traffic Police have started this special drive to clear the encroachments and obstructive parking, he said.

He reiterated that the commuters must stop at the STOP line on noticing the signal turning green to orange. All the establishment owners were being sensitized to keep the carriageway clear by providing park space.

Over 472. motorists and 18 establishment owners were penalized for traffic violations as part of the ROPE operation. The 25 traffic units of Hyderabad traffic police conducted the drive across the city and a fine of Rs 3,65,000 was imposed on Day 1 of the operation.
