Vice President Radhakrishnan To Visit Karnataka, Goa And Kerala
Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 11 (Maxim News): All arrangements made for the swearing-in of CP Radhakrishnan, who won the recently held Vice-presidential elections of India. CP Radhakrishnan will be sworn in as the 15th Vice President of India at 9.30 am on Friday morning (September 12).
NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan won the Vice -presidential elections held this week. CP Radhakrishnan won by a margin of 152 votes against INDI Alliance candidate Sudarshan Reddy.
CP Radhakrishnan got 452 votes, while Sudarshan Reddy got 300 votes. As a result, CP Radhakrishnan was elected as the 15th Vice President of india. 15 votes were invalid in this election and 98.2 percent polling was recorded.
A total of 767 MPs exercised their right to vote in this election. The polling was held in ‘F-101 Vasudha’ of the Parliament building using ballot papers only. EVMs were not used due to the second priority vote. (Maxim News)
