CPGET Registration From 18th Of This Month

Hyderabad, June 13 (Maxim News): The notification for the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test (CPGET) 2025, conducted for admissions to postgraduate (PG) courses in the state, will be released on june 18 (Wednesday).  The notification will be released by the Chairman of the Higher Education Council, Professor Vidityala Balakishta Reddy, OU VC Professor M.Kumar and others at 3.30 m.  It is known that seats in courses like MA, MSc. MCom are being filled through CPGET.  This time too, the responsibility of conducting CPGEt has been entrusted to Osmania University, Professor I Pandu Ranga Reddy has been appointed as the CPGET convener.

This time, the seats in PG courses will be filled in three phases.  The first phase of registrations will start from the 18th of this month.  On the same day, the authorities will also release the information brochure related to CPGET.

Till now, one seat was allotted to the disabled for every 30 seats.  But now, five percent reservation will be applied.  With the expiry of the joint quota admissions, 15 percent of the AP quota seats will be cut.  From now on, AP students can compete for seats only under the non-local quota.  If EWS is included in the PG courses in 8 universities across the state, there are a total of more than 50 thousand seats.  Of these, only 22 to 23 thousand are filled annually.  Although there are about 27 thousand seats, no students are joining.  As a result, all the seats remain vacant.  (Maxim News)
