Hyderabad, April 1 (Maxim News): The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team, Hyderabad apprehended one Cricket betting Bookie Mukesh Sharma @ Pappu and his team here on Saturday, on credible information while he was accepting Cricket betting through cell phones from known and unknown punters for ongoing Match in between Sri Lanka Vs Bangladesh teams playing in Sri Lanka on April 1 and seized (1) Laptop, (1) T.V, (1) Set Up Box, (1) Tab, (8) Cell Phones, (2) Note books which were used to write cricket betting amounts and net Cash of Rs.10 Lakhs from his father-in-law house situated at Flat No.205, 2nd Floor, BDR Towers, Tirumala Hills Colony, Saidabad, Hyderabad.
Modus operandi:-
The accused Mukesh Sharma @ Pappu is a habitual offender (Cricket Betting). He was arrested 3 times in Hyderabad City Police. His History sheet is also maintaining at Charminar Police Station. Mukesh Sharma @ Pappu along with his gang i.e. Ritesh Singh and Mahesh Beeradhar are organizing Cricket betting with huge amounts and gaining illegal profits, for this he has taken a small room at his Father-in-law house situated at Flat No.205, 2nd Floor, BDR Towers, Tirumala Hills Colony, Saidabad, Hyderabad and kept his equipment and all other setup there. One Monu who is main organizer who collected money from Mukesh Sharma @ Pappu is Absconding.
Particulars of the Accused persons:Mukesh Sharma @ Pappu S/o Mothilal Sharma, aged 49 yrs, Occ: Cricket betting Organizer, R/o H.No.21-3-727/4, Chelapura, Charminar, Hyderabad; Ritesh Singh S/o Dharam Singh, aged 39 yrs, Occ: Kirana store business, R/o H.No.14-10-299, Jinsi Chowrahi, Mangalhat, Hyderabad and Mahesh Beeradhar S/o Tanaji Rao, aged 30 yrs, Occ: Driver, R/o Shamsheergunj, Aliabad, Hyderabad.
The apprehended accused persons along with seized property were handed over to the SHO, Saidabad PS, Hyderabad for further action.
The raid was conducted under the supervision of B. Limba Reddy, Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by Sayini Srinivasa Rao, Inspector of Police, Central Zone Team with the assistance of SIs B.Kantha Reddy, K.Vinod Kumar, G.Thimmappa and the Staff of Central Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.
