Crimes review meeting held by Cyberabad CP Shri Stephen Raveendra, IPS

Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Stephen Raveendra, IPS., today held a virtual review meeting with all the officers of all Police stations which have the highest pendency of under investigation cases in the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

Along with CP, DCP Crimes Shri Kalmeshwar Shingenavar, IPS., DCP Traffic Shri SM Vijay Kumar, IPS., DCP Madhapur Smt. Shilpavalli, DCP Shamshabad Shri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DCP Balanagar Shri Sundeep, DCP Crimes – II Smt. Indira, ACP’s, Inspectors, and other police personnel participated virtually.

CP reviewed UI Cases Pendency, Functional Verticals, NDPS Investigations and enforcement, Women Safety, SC/ ST atrocity cases. CP reviewed the Grave cases, Petition inquiries, and the status of the investigation and asked officers to prepare a specific plan of action to end the pendency in a time-bound manner by pooling available resources at all levels to meet the State-level standards. CP said to prepare a checklist to check whether SOPs were followed or not.

CP said the performance of each PS would be measured on a regular basis to improve the investigation standards. “The expeditious investigation of cases is crucial in the criminal justice system”, he stressed. The DCPs of crime, Traffic and different zones, ACPs, and SHOs attended the meeting.
