Hyderabad, Nov.4 (NSS): The CCS Cyber Crime Police have registered a case against Tollywood music director Devi Sri Prasad following a complaint from Hindu associations and Karate Kalyanis, who alleged that the director produced a private album titled “O Pari” which contains obscene dances on Hare Rama Hare Krishna mantras injuring the feelings of Hindus.
Cyber Crime ACP KVM Prasad said further steps would be taken against the music director after obtaining legal opinion.
It may be mentioned here that Devisri Prasad directed music in many a hit films in the Tollywood. Known as Rock Star in the cine field, Devisri Prasad composed music in many non-films recently. The music video was launched by Bollywood star Hero Ranvir Singh. “O Pari” song was not only composed by himself, but also sang it. But the song contains Hare Rama & Hare Krishna intermittently drawing displeasure of the complainants. (NSS)
