Hyderabad, Dec.19 (Maxim News): Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar today held a review meeting on the issue of road safety and directed officials to prepare a frame work for action plan on road safety for every district in the State. He also reviewed the unified action plan on emergency care and mapping of Ambulance services, Hospitals and Trauma care centers to bring down the Fatalities and to extend health services within the Golden hour. He directed the officials to arrange training program on emergency medicine from NIMS to the Health care workers of Trauma care centers.
He advised the Health Department to identify staff for taking Master training on Active Bleeding Control to reduce the Mortality and Morbidity from Road Accidents in the State. He also directed the officials to constitute a team to study each and every aspect related to Outer ring road duly focussing on fencing, crossings, signage’s, Illumination, ANPR camera based speed enforcement at vulnerable locations to minimize accidents. He asked the officials to make arrangements for conducting one day training to Government drivers on safe driving and maintenance of vehicles.
Sunil Sharma, the Principal Secretary of transport and R&B department, Jithender, the Additional DGP, Ravi Gupta, the Principal Secretary of Home, SAM Rizvi the Secretary of Health & Family Welfare department and other officials took part in the meeting. (Maxim News)
