Hyderabad, July 21: The Cyberabad Police on Tuesday issued a rain advisory in view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall during the evening and urged companies, educational institutions, and organisations to allow staggered early departures for employees and students.
The advisory aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve public safety during adverse weather conditions.
Cyberabad Police Advise Early Logouts
The Cyberabad Police recommended that offices and educational institutions begin allowing employees and students to leave from 3:30 pm onwards to ease traffic movement across the region.
Police said staggered departures would help reduce pressure on major roads, minimise travel-related risks, and ensure the smooth movement of emergency response vehicles during heavy rainfall.
Officials added that the advisory was issued as a precautionary measure, with moderate to heavy rain expected to affect traffic on key roads in the Cyberabad Commissionerate.
The police also urged commuters to plan their travel in advance and exercise caution while driving during the rain.
