Hyderabad, Dec.30 (Maxim News): In view of the New Year eve celebrations on December 31st 2020, certain restrictions and guidelines have been issued in public interest by Cyberabad Traffic Police. The Nehru Outer Ring Road will be closed for light motor vehicles except the vehicles bound towards the Airport from 11 pm to 5 am.
The PVNR Express Way will be closed for vehicles except for the vehicles bound towards the Airport from 11pm to 5am. The following flyovers will be totally closed for all vehicular and pedestrian movement from 11pm to 5am. The names of the flyovers are Cyber towers flyover, Gachibowli flyover, Bio-diversity flyovers 1 and 2, Mind space flyover, Forum Mall-JNTU Flyover, Road No.45 flyover and Durgam Cheruvu Bridge.
The police has requested the Public to make their travel plans accordingly and cooperate with the Traffic Police.
They said that The drivers and operators of cabs, taxi and auto rickshaws should be in proper uniform and carry all their documents. They said that the cab drivers should not refuse ride on hire to any public. It is a violation of Section 178 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Penalty of Rs. 500/- will be imposed in the form of e-challan on such refusal to ply. The police asked the Public may send such complaints to them on WhatsApp 9490617346 with details of vehicle, time, place etc. (Maxim News)
