Meanwhile, Commissioner Ramesh directed all Deputy Commissioners of Police to act quickly. He asked them to ensure officers are relieved from their current postings without delay. He also directed that all transferred officers report to their new stations immediately. Consequently, the change in command across key stations takes effect without any gap in policing coverage.

In addition, transfers of this scale are a routine administrative mechanism in police commissionerates. They aim to bring fresh accountability to high-traffic police stations. They also help deploy experienced officers in specialised investigation wings. The Cyberabad commissionerate covers one of the fastest-growing urban zones in Hyderabad, with jurisdiction over major IT corridors and residential belts.
